Insights from the 2026 ProfitSolv Partner Summit

Recently, the Backyard Bookkeeper team attended the ProfitSolv Partner Summit, where we spent several days learning about upcoming developments across the ProfitSolv ecosystem, including CosmoLex, legal technology trends, AI innovations, and workflow automation. We also enjoyed reconnecting with longtime industry contacts and building new relationships with members of the ProfitSolv and CosmoLex teams.

One of the biggest themes throughout the conference was helping law firms spend less time on administrative tasks and more time serving clients. ProfitSolv showcased ongoing investments in automation, artificial intelligence, document management, reporting, and workflow tools designed to improve efficiency across legal practices. New and upcoming capabilities include AI-assisted intake forms, AI-powered search and filtering, document summarization, automated invoice reminders, enhanced reporting options, and improvements to reconciliation workflows.

Another significant focus was payments technology. ProfitSolv has introduced Stripe as the foundation of its integrated payment platform, now live across all ProfitSolv products for new payments customers. Firms already using Stax will remain with Stax at this time.

In addition to the CosmoLex roadmap, we were introduced to several partner solutions that complement the ProfitSolv ecosystem. One that stood out was an AI-powered timekeeping platform expected to integrate with CosmoLex in January 2027. By automatically capturing work activity and preparing draft time entries for attorney review, the platform aims to reduce one of the most common frustrations in law firms: keeping up with billable time.
